ETOA celebrates its 25th anniversary this year and to mark this occasion we will be looking at the past, present and future of the travel industry in Europe. The sector has been transformed since 1989 by a number of major events and innovations from the fall of the Berlin Wall to the advent of Schengen Area, the birth of the Euro to the signing of Open Skies Agreement. This is not to mention the biggest change of all, the arrival of the Internet. The first session will review the past quarter of a century and ask what we can learn from this period.
